Support and FAQ

The MEI Conference is MEI's annual opportunity to bring together 11-19 maths teachers and enthusiasts at all stages of their careers to share, explore, discuss and evaluate ideas for the classroom. Prompted by the Coronavirus pandemic, the MEI Conference 2020 will take place online for the first time, on 2-3 July, and is completely free to attend.

The event will feature:

  • 12 sessions covering a wide variety of topics
  • live Q&A with subject experts
  • a headline session by eminent statistician Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter
  • evening entertainment, including a performance by Poetry World Slam Champion Harry Baker!

After registering, you will have received an email with the subject line: You've registered to attend MEI Virtual Conference 2020!

If you're unable to find this, please send an email including your name to [email protected]. We will respond as soon as possible.

Please send an email including your name to [email protected]. We will respond as soon as possible.

We're sorry but unable to provide access once the conference has started. Please register to be kept informed about future opportunities from MEI, and we'll be able to let you know about similar events in the future.

We don't plan on making recordings publicly available after the conference. However, a recording of every session will be available to conference delegates until Monday 6 July.

We endeavour to make as many of the session materials available as possible. Unfortunately, there are a multitude of reasons why this may not be possible with some resources, particularly those used by guest presenters.

Any resources that we can provide will be available from the MEI website soon after the conference has ended.
